Last April, the OpenMode project successfully implemented the commissioning of three modules. Together, these are already four pilots installed from the five planned at the beginning of the project.
During a trip that included various destinations in Europe, our technicians and collaborators have deployed two 12×12 m. Formex® modules to harvest mollucs in the Mediterranean basin. One of them in the sea of Novigrad, Croatia, and the other in the bay of Kotor, Montenegro.
The third pilot is a prototype of a floating module for photovoltaic energy production that has been installed in the Basque Country, Spain.
