On 26 October 2021 we have been invited to explain the OpenMode project at the workshop “Potentials and challenges in mussel farming” organised by DTU Aqua. The Technical University of Denmark is also testing our tester number 2, installed since last summer in the North Sea.
The workshop is aimed at mussel farmers, researchers, authorities and other stakeholders in the mussel farming sector and will include the following general topics:
- Development and presentation of new production methods for mussel farming.
- What are the biological and climatic challenges facing mussel production in Denmark?
- Challenges of increasing mussel production in Danish waters, both administrative and general production challenges of mussel farming today.
In addition, the latest results of three research projects will be presented:
